Show Ribbon Keyboard Shortcuts in Office 2007

If you like using keyboard shortcuts, try this:

Show Ribbon Shortcuts

1. To show ribbon shortcuts, press the ALT key on your keyboard.  A letter will appear against each tab name on the ribbon.  You can now choose a tab using your keyboard.

2. Once a tab has been chosen, the buttons on that part of the ribbon are then given shortcut letters, enabling you to use your keyboard to make a selection.

Minimise the Ribbon in Office 2007

Minimise the Ribbon
If you find the Ribbon is taking up too much space on your screen, try minimising it:

1. To minimise the ribbon, click on any ribbon tab name eg Home, Insert, View etc. (To view buttons on a ribbon, whilst the ribbon is in its minimised state, click on the relevant tab name – the buttons are shown temporarily until a selection is made.)
2. To restore the ribbon to its maximised state, double click on a tab name again.
